Teatro Politeama is a theater located in Lisbon, in the heart of downtown, on Rua das Portas de Santo Antão, directed by director Filipe La Féria. Inaugurated on the initiative of Luís António Pereira, a lover of Theater and Music who wanted to provide the city with a new concert hall. It was built with a project by Miguel Ventura Terra. The first stone was laid on May 12, 1912 and the inauguration was on December 6, 1913 with the operetta Valsa de Amor.
