Inaugurated in June 2008, the Casa da Cultura Lívio de Morais – then called Casa de Cultura de Mira Sintra – is today a cultural landmark in the Union of Parishes of Agualva and Mira Sintra, in the city of Agualva-Cacém and in the Municipality of Sintra itself. With an area of approximately 1,400m2, it is a space dedicated to hosting the most varied events, namely music, theater and dance shows, as well as other cultural initiatives such as exhibitions, colloquia, seminars, lectures, conferences, ateliers and workshops, among other events of a similar nature.
