Viewing a film about Carnival and plastic expression studio
Entrudo is called Entrudo, the doll, symbol of the court, traditionally made of straw, which is burned annually on Ash Wednesday, after the trial and reading of the will. The burning or burial of Entrudo closes the Carnival revelries, being present in the so-called rural or traditional Entrudo, a practice that survived in the urban Carnival of Torres Vedras.
Let’s get to know the history that surrounds this tradition and make a miniature of a straw doll.
