This Wednesday, the eve of a holiday, we received two essential names from the Lisbon underground. Collectors, music lovers and experienced diggers come together for a night of crossing records without attachment to genres.
Alcides, also known as DJ AL: is a Lisbon DJ active since 1990. He followed the birth and growth of the Portuguese clubbing scene. As a producer he is an integral part of the projects The Deal in London and Slight Delay in Lisbon.
Thiago’s sets are full of the essential elements that transform a musical selection into a sound narrative: fluidity, precision, the keen sensitivity to dialogue with the dancers and, with his help, tack together sets whose power and permanence are their strongest singularity.
The passion that propels their efforts is of that seminal, fundamental,
visceral, the same one that helped create this movement to which he dedicates the greatest
part of his talent: House Music.
