Cepa Torta Company
Change. This word that always seems to mean the destruction of something for the construction of something else that favors us, homo sapiens.
How to believe in the end of the world and be happy? How to escape the lack of hope?
Like someone who frees himself from a silent cry, forged by the anxiety of someone who is faced with a cosmic cataclysm, Filipe Abreu continues in search of revolution, of hope for a better future and, failing that, seeks the best way to live in peace with the your consciousness during the greatest weather disaster in known history. In theater/conference format, it presents a raw portrait of human impacts on the planet throughout history and today, from the first mass extinctions with the arrival of humans in Australia, in 45,000 BC, to the plastic islands that colonized large Pacific areas. It addresses (and criticizes) current attempts to change the world for the better, and future prospects for our species and its surroundings. Will technology be able to sustain the health of planet Earth? Will the human species be able to radically change its way of living and facing the world?
