Kenny Carpenter is an artist who has lived through many facets of the New York nightlife. It all started at the mythical Studio 54, where he took care of lighting together with Walter Gibbons, until he became one of the club’s resident DJs for more than two decades. Kenny has gone through other legendary venues such as Galaxy 21, The Inferno and even Bond’s International Casino, both as a lighting technician and also as a DJ. As a producer and entertainer, the DJ maintains close relationships with his contemporaries (and friends) Frankie Knuckles, David Morales or Little Louie Vega, and artists such as Wendy Lewis, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Majestic K. Funk.
Lisbon DJ M.Dusa is known for her absolute devotion to music. In her two decades of living in booths, the most defining characteristic of her approach to the mission of sharing music is her unusual ability to bridge the gap between accessible and underground styles. Fruit of a vast musical culture, without being categorized or limited in genres, and of an uncommitted and independent perspective to dance music.
For M.Dusa, being a DJ and giving yourself to music is not about the spotlight or egos, but a way of life to which you dedicate yourself with soul, an extension of what you are and what you feel.
Last year he represented Portugal in Croatia at the SuncéBeat Festival, where he will return again this summer.
