On the 14th and 15th of June, at the Coliseu dos Recreios (Lisbon) and at the Coliseu Porto Ageas, respectively, the queen of samba joins the audience she has conquered in Portugal over time, to celebrate 50 years of her career. It will be two memorable nights, where there will be plenty of reasons and successes to get everyone dancing and giving Alcione a standing ovation.
With a musical career that has recorded successes for five decades, Marrom, the name with which she is affectionately nicknamed, does not let her origins gather dust or become “buried” by fame.
Between boleros, a pinch of jazz and a lot of samba, the veteran singer promises to make us travel through the imagination of Brazil, even with so much sea in between, undulating the arrangements and songs that the public loves so much.
In the lineup, the lady of Brazilian samba and eternal guardian of the warm and firm voice that many recognize her, brings, among others, the classics “Estranha Loucura”, “Você Me Vira a Cabeça”, “Além da Cama”, the fierce “ A Loba” and the popular “Meu Ébano” which, together with the most awaited “Don’t Let Samba Die” will make the most daring get up from their chairs to dance.
Alcione, who filled Campo Pequeno in 2020, is now returning to Portugal for two unique concerts to commemorate his 50 years of career that will make the Coliseu dos Recreios (Lisbon) and the Coliseu do Porto Ageas, on the 14th and 15th of June, on real dance floors, where samba will certainly not be lacking.
