Rafael Matos (AKA TheMisterDriver) is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He started in music at the age of 2, playing drums in his father’s band’s garage in São Marcos. Mr.Driver was raised in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, growing up with his mother and sister.
Music has always been a part of his life, whether in rap battles with his friends after school or on weekends with his bands. At age 16 he released his demo album ”YELLOW!” Ushering a new chapter in his life. In 2021 as a producer, he released ‘’ATOA’ with rapper Deezy from Angola, counting over 500k views on Youtube He also produced well-known artists in Portugal (Dezinho, Xina RBL, Pempas). On March 22, TheMisterDriver makes his television debut at the Song Festival with his song ”CALISUN”.
Rappers The RealGunz and Damz are responsible for the 1st part of the night, with Sukula as hoster.
