CommunicArte – Inclusion through Art of children and young people with disabilities
Conversations about Education | 5th edition
Conversation around Art and inclusion of children and young people with disabilities, within the scope of formal and non-formal education. This theme is the ideal pretext for a meeting that wants to be welcoming, participatory and constructive, giving voice to very different actors, but united in the objective of making children and young people with disabilities their main priority.
What is the role of cultural agents who want to welcome difference, but who so often lack information, training or resources? What is the place of art in the school curriculum of these children and in cultural initiatives that promote inclusion? How are parents’ expectations of their child’s protection and development met? What about the action of the Ministry of Education on this issue and the way it operationalized Dec.54/2018 that regulates the Inclusive School? Many questions that promise a debate not to be missed!
