The Sunday afternoon “cult” is back at the old Cinema Roma for a new season. The project began with the hand of director and screenwriter Tiago P. de Carvalho, who decided to show new audiences very popular works of cinema from the last decades.
The new Cinepop cycle opens with the epic Apocalypse Now, by Francis Ford Coppola. This is followed by David Lynch’s first feature, Eraserhead, a surrealist horror novel elevated to a cult film, and Rocky, written and starring Sylvester Stallone, which unexpectedly became a huge success.
